CD ReviewsWORST single ever released. Donna Hayford | ??? | 11/30/2003 (1 out of 5 stars) "I don't see why anyone would want to spend twelve dollars--about the price you can get for a normal CD at Best Buy--on this peice of trash. Singles are a waste of money. People that buy singles are the kind that just aren't patient enough to wait for the artists' album to come out (and "Britney" came out 2 years ago so I don't know why you'd want to waste money on a song when you can get an her actual album with this and 11 other songs). Now to get onto the content of this CD, I think that this song just fits the definition of 'nasty'. That "Get nasty!" thing is wrong, and Britney cannot do it right. It doesn't sound right. It sounds like some perverted girl wanting to just touch a guy ("What would it take for you to just sleep with me?"). The chorus for this song is: "Boys!/ Sometimes a girl just needs one (I get nasty) / Boys! / To love her and to hold (I get nasty)/Boys! /And when a girl is with one (I get nasty)/Boys!/Then she's in control!!!" Basically all the songs on this single are almost exactly the same, except the one with Pharrell in it. Every now and then he comes in saying "C'mon girl" or "Girls!" This is far by the worst single Britney Spears has ever released. This is just the same Britney, with the same irritating voice, trying to sell albums with the body on the cover. Stay away from this at all costs." One of My Favorite Singles Tyler Free | Malvern, PA | 10/28/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Someone tried to quote Britney in the line "What would it take for you to just SLEEP with me?" In reality, she says "What would it take for you to just LEAVE with me?" Get it right people. This single is very edgy and the album version and co-ed remix version are both fanastic. The beats and rythme is right on and definitely attracts your attention. The video was also amazing; one of my personal favorites. There's a reason why Britney has been so long; she is the epitome of longevity... It's not just luck!"
