Reissued, not Remastered

(3 out of 5 stars)
"This is a reissue of a 1980 release where the recording is poor, and perhaps more noticeable on a 2009 format.
The tracks are all long, which in the later days from Chet Baker become more about his quartet and less of Chet's solos. You may think there is too much of the flute on some of the tracks.
Disc One:
No Ties (approx. 27 minutes)
In Your Own Sweet Way (approx. 16 minutes)
Old Devil Moon (ditto)
An Afternoon at home (approx. 17 minutes)
Disc Two:
Doodlin' (Almost 23 minutes)
Just Friends (almost 25 minutes)
Down (approx. 20 minutes)
and the shortest track, the bonus track: Seven Steps to Heaven (about 9 minutes)
Hope this helps you make your buying decision. With so many reissues of Chet Baker's original albums, as well as new compilations of previously released material, there may be a better CD buy out there for you."
