CD Reviews

The leaders of the truth movement have done it again!
William M. Sweet | Marietta, Ga. USA | 01/14/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"(Hed) P.E. has done it yet again, with the release of their latest album, "New World Orphans." I've been a fan of this band for several years now, and they never let me down. M.C.U.D. has set his band on a mission to let the world know what is going on behind the scenes. He wants us to open our eyes, and not just blindly accept the answers we've always been told. Every track on this album hits hard, my current favorite track would have to be "Stay Ready," which features Subnoize rapper "The Dirtball." This album definitely has influences from all of their previous releases. The single from the album, "Renegade" is a hard hitting track, and I guarantee someone is going to be hit even harder, when they get knocked out in the pit during this song. Take a 5 minute trip over to Youtube to check the official video. There are actually three different versions of this album. Each version has a different cover and artwork, as well as different bonus tracks. They went all out on this album, but I never expected any less than the best. There are Also guest appearances from KMK, Tech N9ne, Potluck, and Big B. With music like this to start off the new year, 2009 is already looking to be a great year. I would give this album a rating of 6 stars if Amazon would let me. There will always be someone who gives a negative review of this album, but hey Jared doesn't want those Emo kids listening to his music anyways..."

"I first heard about (hed) P.E. through Broke and loved them from there on out. This is their best work yet. This cd gets me pumped and makes me not want to take crap from anybody. (hed)PE have created a though provoking album and certainly one of my favorites. I've heard this cd about 5 times straight in a row already. Every song on this album is a gem. Hopefully, they are just as good live when I go see them next month."
Where are all the haters at?

"I really am surprised that the review section doesn't have at least one hater yet. Anyways, I have to say this is the best effort from this band sense the self titled. I've been listening from the age of 13 (21 now). I've always loved this band, but they have flat out done them self's for this one. From there independent career on this is with out the best album yet. Only in Amerika was okay, I loved Back to base x, Insomnia was good but not as good as it could be. This album is everything Insomnia could have been and more. Renagade is the best single they have had sense they broke loose of the noose, stay ready is my new favorite song, and the whole message of the cd is much more inspiring then Insomnia. I love this album, and its great to hear them have a CD that is actually CD quality. I highly suggest this CD to fans, people who lost touch, and people who have never heard them before."
