What a disappointment

"I had high hopes for this collection of classical music. I received "100 Golden Classics" and immediately put the 4 CD's into my CD-player. This type of music is usually enjoyed most when played loud and I immediately wondered where all the background noise came from. It turned out that these CD's are not digitally remastered at all but are simply copies of some old LP's. Therefore the original LP noise is preserved and the remaining music is not very dynamic. The selection is actually good - but the sound quality prevents me from enjoying these CD's."

"This is a great selection. The only problem I have is that the songs are often a little too short and leave you wanting more. But it is great for a classical beginner who wants to experience all the most popular tunes."
