"The Inventions, who can be utterly intimate gems as well as playful little wonders turns into lukewarm water in the hands of Martins. Uninteresting performance miles away from what Bach intended. Listen to Glenn Gould or Andras Schiff and you'll understand."
Martins is the greatest!

"Can you imagine a pianist who could play Bach on the piano and make it sound like a new instrument, like a harpsichord with the big tone of a piano, like a piano, but with the intensity of a harpsichord? Martins do even more than that. He is a truly god, bringing us this music as alive than ever, like Bach himself would play it today."
