"The Pearl Fishers duet is cut in half even though there was plenty of room on the CD for the whole thing. This is a real shame and is why I gave this release only two stars. This release has all the earmarks of something hastily thrown together by a Warner Music employee who knew little about opera and cared less. A real disappointment."
Great Arias!

"If you're an opera lover, this CD is for you. All the great arias. My wife adores this album."

"An excellent selection of material and an ideal introduction to opera. Many of the arias are very popular but there are a few unfamiliar gems hidden there. If you want to introduce someone to the joy and delight of opera there is no better collection with which to do it. I was particularly taken by the vocal technique of Jennifer Larmour but to single her out from among so many excellent artists is perhaps unfair. I can't wait for Volume 2.40 Most Beautiful Arias
