Album Description7-10 Split formed as a three-piece punk-metal band in 1997. They released two records, Trial By Stone (1999) and Force Beyond Strength (2000) on Screaming Giant before the label went under. Soon after, the band added a second guitar player to fill in their sound and give them a new melodic presence. As a four piece, 7-10 Split began touring full-time to get more exposure and find another label to release their next record. While on one of their national tours, they met up with New School Records. Amazed at the band?s live performance and unique sound, New School made the band an offer on the spot, and weeks later they had a new label to call home! They released their third record, The Stars Have Fallen, in October 2002. Afterward, 7-10 Split decided to tour as much as possible too get the exposure they needed and catch the attention of punk rock fans everywhere. It has been almost two years since the release of The Stars Have Fallen, and the band felt it was time to take their skills to a new level, so they headed back to the studio with producer Marc McClusky to create Kill The Messenger. Combining the energy and intensity of hardcore with spiked pop-punk power chords shadowed by melodic ?80s metal guitar riffs ? 7-10 Split bring you one of the most original and entertaining punk albums of 2004.
