CD ReviewsHigh-energy neo-fusion in the style of the Dixie Dregs 06/14/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "David Ragsdale is a fantastic violin/guitar player and song writer! The CD starts out with a couple of rock-style songs, with lots of hot violin and guitar licks as well as driving bass and drums, reminiscent of the Dixie Dregs. The third song is more jazz-like, with rudimental snare drumming fading into a European sounding song that incorporates a fugue. The fourth song is an emotional piece that's much more laid back than the preceeding songs. The next two songs are really good high-energy songs that showcase David's talent. The song, David and Goliath, is the song that really shows David's song writing talent. The eighth song is a remake of Return to Forever's "Jungle Waterfall" which fits in well with the overall style of the CD. The last song is a good slow song that shows the talent of both David and the bass player. I really enjoy this CD and am looking forward to the next one." Awesome Keith Trask | Sring Park, MN.
