The Music of Concert Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer & Instrumentalist Bill Lamb falls under the ?Classical Crossover? music category combining pop, world, contemporary, and classical styles. The Compass is the original soundtrack for Unfinished Journey: The Lewis and Clark Expedition, a co-production of Aaron Meyer & Bill Lamb, Lewis & Clark College, and Oregon Public Broadcasting. This 13-part public radio series, hosted by Peter Coyote, commemorates the bicentennial of the Corps of Discovery. The Compass is 30 minutes total running time and consists of 20 excerpts of Character Themes (Sacagawea, President Jefferson, Clark) and interludes used throughout the radio program featuring Aaron & Bill's original music.

"This variety of music is a soundtrack for OPB radio, the weekly radio broadcast of the 'Unfinished Journey, The Lewis & Clark Expedition'. Expect shorter musical tracks since these are written as radio segments. Overall... it is an excellent cd and the music is moving! You can literally picture the images that the musicians are portraying in their music, as it is written to define characters and/or places in the radio broadcast which defines Pacific Northwest history! There is some celtic overtones, and the arrangements are compelling!"
