"Aaron Sprinkle is an amazing songwriter and fantastic musician. The Kindest Days, his second solo release while on hiatus from his band Poor Old Lu, doesn't reach the stellar status of his debut solo record, Moontraveler, but this album shines with Sprinkle's intelligent lyrics and Beatlesque musicality."
I'm going to wear this one out too!

"I wore out my last Aaron Sprinkle CD, Moontravler (scratches) and I had to buy another one! After hearing this one I know it's going to become my new favorite. The Lyrics are intriguing, the melodies captivating. It's the kind of CD that you don't notice when it has repeated several times, you keep looking forward to the next song..."
INCREDIBLE!

"Aaron Sprinkle has again shown us that indeed, their is life after Lu (Poor Old Lu, that is). Ever since the demise of one of Christian music's premier alternative/emo bands, fans have followed the careers of it's ex-members closely, hoping for a reunion album. In the meantime, however, Aaron has found a great way to pass the time! With the release of his solo debut, "Moontraveller," many fans were surprised by the lack of the Poor Old Lu sound. Instead, the album sported a mature almost folk/blues approach more suited to the Damien Jurado and Pedro the Lion crowd. Now, with the release of his second album, Aaron takes us on yet another incredible musical journey. Aaron Sprinkle is an exceptional artist, with an ability to tell a story that is almost unparalleled by other artists of today. His sensitive, yet mature voice weaves through the gentle tapestry of drum, bass, and guitars like a fourth instrument. Several highlights include the smart guitar work on "Geneveive," and the title track, "The Kindest Days." Aaron Sprinkle has crafted an exceptional album here, and even diehard Poor Old Lu fans will sit up and take notice."

"Once again, Aaron Srinkle has shown us that their is indeed life after Lu (Poor Old Lu, that is!). Ever since the breakup of one of Christian music's premier alternative rock/emo bands, fans have followed the member's careers closely, hoping for a reunion album. While that hasn't happened yet, Aaron Sprinkle (former lead guitarist for the aforementioned band) has at least found a great way to pass the time. From beginning to end, this album is an incredible musical journey, and Aaron Srinkle is just the one to tell it, his sensitive and mature voice gliding throughout the tracks like a fifth instrument. Melding elements of jazz, rock, and a little blues at time, this album is the perfect one for a lazy day. My favorite highlights are the beautiful acoustic guitar of Genevieve, and the title track, The Kindest Days. Recommended if you like Pedro the Lion, Damien Jurado, and Sunny Day Real Estate."
