"This work contains 11 tracks of unusual great black metal very different from the previous releases. Necronomicon is the subject of the lyrics, full of evil rituals and visions interpreted by Agamoth' sick vocals (reminding Abbath's performance). Fizala is recorded with an extreme skill...sometimes grim, sometimes psychotic and the clean production let the listener join the technical preparation of each member. It's difficult to catalogue Abgott's music: i would define this cd a sort of prog black metal and the presence of some electronic/chaotic tracks (which sometimes use absurd frequencies) makes it extremely disturbing and the right link between thru tradition and a possible future in black metal.
