Synopsis

Beyond a Doubt is one of those rare albums that you could turn off after listening to the first track and still feel satisfied. "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" declares the message of faith ("He amazed the wise men in spite of his youth / As he spoke with wisdom and knowledge of truth / Beyond a doubt we know / Tell me something I don't know") and is also very simply a gorgeous piece of music. If you listen to the rest of this 1995 album, you will hear four singers (Gary Moyers, Duane Adams, Robert C. Guy, and Steve Reischl) who form one of the tightest, cleanest vocal bands in Christian music--or in any music. They also provide more writing than usual to complement the words and music of Acappella founder and guru Keith Lancaster, and the deep, sturdy bass is more prominent than in other albums. This is a solid mix of ballads and driving uptempo numbers--and it's outstanding from beginning to end. Easily one of Acappella's best. --David Horiuchi

"When it comes to acappella style music, these guys are the best. They make singing such tight harmonies and desonances sound like silk. This CD is the 11th in my collection of Acappella Albums. I fell in love with them from the first note I heard out of their mouths. They proclaim the good news like no one else has or can! "If There Were No God", "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" and "He Did It Again" are my favorites from this CD. I also recommend getting their latest album, "Acappella, The Collection". It comprises 17 of the greatest songs in Acappella's history, (including "The Medley" which will blow you away! I must warn you, this group is ADDICTIVE! They can touch your soul! God Bless!"
