"Ok I just got this CD today (4/10) and (...) has the track listing all wrong, here is what is on the CD, 13 tracks in all!1. Cruel Summer (U.S. Mix)2. Donnie (U.S. Mix)3. Whenever You're near me (Bonus Track, only available in the U.S.)4. Everytime it Rains (Bonus track [I think-some parts of the U.K. got this track]-its the original slow version of the song, NOT the new U.S. dance version {I heard a rumor that Madonna Ciccone was going to sing this song on her "Ray of light" album} Really good song)5. Adventures in Paradise6. Don't go Away7. Cecilia (Original version)8. He Decides (U.S. Mix)9. Always have, Always Will (U.K. version, different ending with the words)10. Tokyo Girl11. Travel to Romantis (Larossi Mix)12. Cruel Summer (European Mix, Big Bonus Mix)13. Life is a FlowerThis is a good CD, the CD graphic are way much better than the one with the US, also the Booklet, contains the words to all of the songs, and some captions on how that songs was created. Also at the End, there is a different group picture than in the U.S. version of this album. The picture in this case, features Jenny in full shot, and the rest (Linn, Joans, and Ulf) blurred like Linn is on the cover. So if you have the money, and want to wait a month or so, Like I did, then get it, its well worth the money. Its funny, all U.K. Ace of Base fans, hate the American Version of the songs, but the American fans Love the U.K. version of the songs. Can't Please everyone now, can we?"
The Best Ace of Base Album Yet

""Flowers" is the original, European version of Ace of Base's third full-length album. This album was released in the U.S. during the summer of 1998 as "Cruel Summer", but it was butchered and altered for American consumption. While "Cruel Summer" is a great album (see previous review), "Flowers" is so incredibly superior. TRAVEL TO ROMANTIS(#4), the best song off of the "Cruel Summer" album, is in its mesmorizing, Euro-version on the "Flowers" album. Other highlights are the songs that were deleted for the U.S. version: LIFE IS A FLOWER(#1) (it was deemed "too European" for the U.S. release - whatever that means!), DR. SUN(#6) (a classic Ace of Base sound), I PRAY(#9) (a song that really makes me think of Europe and sunshine) and CAPTAIN NEMO(#12) (a very cool, slow song that is unlike anything else from Ace of Base). Arista made a terrible mistake by changing the album for U.S. release. It makes no sense. I truly recommend this album over "Cruel Summer". "Flowers" just has that undeniable European sound and is a solid work from start to finish! "Flowers" is one of the most significant albums in the Euro-Dance/Pop genre and is a perfect piece of artistry. Sweden does it again!!"
