Historic 1st album from the rulers of Japanese underground

"Too bad this record is so hard to find. Acid Mothers Temple is the single most influential and groundbreaking band (with apologies to the Ruins and Boredoms) to come out of the Japanese underground scene. Virtuoso musicians reprocess and reform western psych and space rock into an entirely new whole. AMT are clearly not for everyone, but what truly interesting music is?"
Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO - self-titled

"Yes, the other reviewer is correct on that - this 1997 self-titled Acid Mothers Temple debut is extremely tough-to-find. Running time is 52:59 and it's all mastered on a single track. Some sources indicate there are ten actual songs here, others note there are like twelve. Either way, this CD smokes! However, I could only find four which were "Speed Guru", the tripping "Top Head Pixies", their signature piece "Pink Lady Lemonade" and "Hawaiian Brownie". Looks like this title employs something like fourteen players. Wow! Top rate Japanese full-blown psychedelic mayhem to be fully taken in. An absolute must-have."
