IM ADICTED!

"The Adicts do not know the meaning of making a bad cd, or even a bad song. The sound of music/Smart alex is one of the best I have ever heard, and if you dont have it you better buy it. It is a cross between oi! and punk, with a little pop thrown in. These are the ultimate sing along songs that will never get old. "Johnny was a soldier","Eyes in the back of your head", and "California" are great moments in music that deserve to be heard. You are truly deprived if this is not part of your music collection. Do yourself a favor and get adicted to one of the best bands out of England hands down. I just cant say enough good things about this band."
Just buy it

"sound of music is one of the best albums the adicts have put out its got almost every great song you could think of by them. exept of course "viva la revolution" but you just need to buy "songs of praise" anyways. this is just an all around solid CD if your just getting into the adicts i seriously suggest you buy this. my first adicts album was "sound of music" and now i have 9 of their CD's. once you experience "sound of music" you will only want more adicts."
It's your money, you decide...

"I really just wanted to buy Sound of Music, but this cd was the only one there. And I should have just bought it alone. The first 13 tracks are wild and crazy and I love it! Solid 5 star catchiness right there, especially "Johnny Was a Soldier" and my personal favorite, "Joker In the Pack" (killer string action!) Smart Alex is a good album, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't compare to Sound of Music. Some of the songs, like "Troubadour," are slightly cheesy, and others are rather forgettable. At least it ends with a good song...yeah, including Smart Alex with Sound of Music dampens it's greatness, but I'd still rock this cd any day."
A Great Classic Punk Album

"This is one of my favorite Adicts albums. If you've seen them live, you know that they sound just like they record and this album is a great example of their sound. It's loud and fun and silly and takes me right back to 1985 and seeing them at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium (twice that summer!). The best are the obvious - How Sad, Chinese Takeaway - but the whole album is great."
