Now THIS is Adriana Evans

"I have been in love with Adriana Evans' music since I first saw the video for Seeing is Believing on BET years ago. I was eager for a follow up to her first album, but Nomadic was a bit disappointment. She experimented with different styles with varying degrees of success, but the true AE still came through in spots. Kismet was another step in the right direction, but didn't have enough new material to really sink your teeth into.

But this album is an absolute tour de force, her best work to date (yes, even better than the debut album) because she integrates all the types of music she's influenced by into a seamless, authentic sound that's all her own. She's also grown as a songwriter, as you will be able to tell from the lyrics. THIS is the album I've been waiting for since 1997. If you love good, no GREAT music, it's well worth your $30."
ADRIANA IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!! Get El Camino NOW!!!

"I've loved Adriana since her self-titled album---after listening to Seein' Is Believin' I was hooked. She had a long hiatus until her next album Nomadic, and then we now El Camino. All of her albums are solid. Her first one is hard to beat, but after just a few days of straight-listening, I can safely say that El Camino is her best. Believe me, this is saying alot considering I love her earlier stuff so much as well!

It's hard to find a down track on El Camino. The music is tight, and Adriana's voice is on point as well. I'm still absorbing the lyrics, but i'm sure they're great as well.

Man, I'd love to see her live so much. She has a website, but it appears to not be up yet. The cd I got was an import and it took me a few weeks to finally get it, but it was well worth the wait and the extra $$.

Now, why Adriana is not a household name is beyond me. She's just so awesome. Her music is so layered and richly textured. She produces such solid stuff. The only way her name is going to get out there, is if we fans start spreading the word and making radio stations play her, and ask everyone to buy her stuff. So let's do it!!!

Adriana when are you going to tour?!?!

"It has definitely been worth the wait. I have been a Adriana Evans fan since 1999 when I first heard her debut (for those you don't have it you need to go get it) and I have been on a hunt ever since to find out when she is performing or coming out with a new CD. El Camino is definitely worth every google search I have made since Nomadic was released. Adriana's soothing voice is something that can't be described but will be appreicated upon hearing it. The CD flows effortlessly from track 1 to track 12 and Ms. Evans has the unique ability to have the listener thinking about whatever emotion she is conveying in that particular song. Please do yourself a favor and add this talented woman's CD to your collection, you will be glad you did."
