Afro-Mystik's sophomore release pretty much builds upon the Urban-Jungle-Meets-Madre-Gaia formula of "Future Tropic," but offers tighter jams and more atmospheric ambience in place of kicking breakbeats. If there is a serious flaw in "Morphology," it is the same one that held "Future Tropic" back: the spoken songs. "Follow Me" is a great song, but the others in which vocals are the main focus all fall short of the sheer sonic greatness that are the instrumentals. Skip tracks 4 and 8-10, and you will still have an excellent full-length recording."
