"Hard to believe,but after some 25 years of disbanding,four out of five members of Agitation Free has actually reunited to put out this decent 1999 release.Must mention that 'River...' turned out to be better than what I had expected.Line-up is:Gustl Lutjens-keyboards,Lutz Ulbrich-keyboards&ukulele,Michael Gunther-bass,Burghard Rausch-drums and guest player Johannes Pappert(of Kraan)-sax.SURE,it might've turned out better with old member Michael Hoenig aboard.But,I think all/most fans should be okay with 'River Of Return' just the way it is.Best tracks include the modern day krautrock gem,the ten-minute astounding "Susie Sells Seashells At The Seashore","Nomads" and the thirteen-minute epic "177 Spectacular Sunrises"(great cut to lose your sanity over).With a total of 63 minutes of top notch progressive to experience here,in my opinion,thirty-five minutes of it is truly incredibly well written and superby played.A good CD to have in your collection."
