"Maybe many foreigners will not know about Akina Nkamori, even if Ayumi Hamasaki or chemistry or SMAP etc are known.
But her songs has unique and beautiful melody of Japanse. She have been said to Aidoru, that is, Japanse idol is unique without other counrties. For instance what is needed for them are character, looking and so on in addition to singing very well.But in many Japanse idol genres, I think that Akina'songs have the most beautiful melody. If you are Japanse song fan, the value that you listen to her songs will be.Especially [Slow motion][Second love] is slow ballade with minor chords and have sentimental and beautiful sounds. [Kita wing(north wing)] mean the riding place of the Narita international airport. If you listen to the song, you can imagine the situation as if airplanes fly away to sky in the dark night. [Nanpasena (wrecked ship)] is magnificence ballade with minor chords. The song is used orchestora party, beyond the limit of Japanse pops. The song is the lost-love theme song. If you do not know the words of the Nanapasen, when you listen to the melody only, you eyes may be wetted with your tears. The song have beautiful melody.Anyway, if you listen to the CD, you feel the culture shock, infamiliar melody and rythme and so on. But it is just Japanse sounds.In the point of the beauty of Japanse songs, there will not be other songs compared with Akina songs.In meaning that you exploit new genre too, the CD will be good.I don not write the reviews of Japanse famouse singers like Ayumi Hamasaki, SMAP. but though the CD that I recommend is not famouse singers very much, I have the confidence that the CD have beautiful sounds.
