"Al Gromer Kahn is known for his excellent ambient music, which is unlike most other artists. His work is in deserve of praise and respect. However, Konya sounds like an underdeveloped rip-off, which is exactly what this CD is. The CD is only a short 33 minutes or so. The title song, "Konya," is a dull sludge that also closes out the CD. The second song, "Anahat 841," is really not to bad. But the third track is infected with the theme title track "Konya" towards the end. Apparently, Gromer didn't have another track to finish off the CD, so he uses the one that starts it, which is unfortunate for the person who shells out $14.00 plus for this miserable piece of plastic. "Unfortunate" would have been a more appropriate title for this lame work."
Mesmerizing Rhythm Well Worth It

"This is an unusual album for this underappreciated artist. The title track, Konya, is one of the most mesmerizing and rhythmic pieces I have ever heard. The other tracks are also worthwhile, but Konya is particularly impressive. Well worth it!"
