"This of course, is missing the main ingredient, God's gift to the world, Alejandro Fernández. It nevertheless merited a place in my ever-growing collection of Alejandro memorabilia. Because his superb artistry extends to the material he selects, this is quite enjoyable in some ways. The ones that work the best are two from the genius talent of Manuel Monterrosas, "Que Seas Muy Feliz" and "La Lluvia Sigue Cayendo", and the exquisite "Como Quien Pierde Una Estrella" by Humberto Estrada. I've never heard a "Karaoke" CD before, but I imagine that this is about as good as it can get.Played by "El Mariachi Arriba Juarez", the CD just says "Exitos de Alejandro". There is no "Fernández" anywhere (which would make a difference if I was collecting for "value" rather than sentiment), but these are the ranchera style songs his fans know and love. The small booklet enclosed contains the lyrics to the twelve songs. Here's your chance to be a star...go for it !"
