"This record is a impressive portrait of how diverse and talented Alexander Hacke is -from the movie soundtrack "Sonntag" to the throat singing in "Brush/Throat" to the rock elements of "Sanctuary" and back to electronic "All american Happy Hour" -it is like a journey from one part of Alexander Hacke to another -no wonder he calls it his Road record ..The ease in which he moves in the different music realms -electronic as acoustic is amazing and proves that Alexander Hacke is a lot more than just the bass player of Einstürzende Neubauten. My favorite tracks are "Per Sempre Butterfly" with Gianna Nannini for its melancholic romantisism,"Sanctuary" for its hard core power and Seven - the mixture of experimental sounds and heavy beats is great -I can listen to the record over and over again and always hear something new and intriguing. The small hidden video documentary of Danielle de Picciotto is fun too - most of the many musicans participating on the record can be seen here."
