Raga Chandranandan is his own creation and among his performances of this Raga, this is the most brilliant. This is one of those recordings that I can not tire of repeated listening. This is Hindustani Classical at it's absolute best."

"Wanting an excellent CD of traditional Indian music, but being a novice, I chose this based on the hope that the title didn't lie. It didn't, this is a wonderful and expressive CD, each song starts slow and simple then builds to an exuberant ending. It is relaxing and playful to the ear and mind."
