Diverse Selections on Coltrane's Eternity

"This is a great album; and it is great for a few reasons. The first reason it is great is because of Alice Coltrane's organ tone - it is thick, fat, and warm! The other reason why this album is great is because of the diversity of the track selections. There are the Eastern sounds present, (as in so much of Alice Coltrane's music), there is a Latin presence (the piece "Los Caballos"), a cover of Stavinsky's "Rite of Spring" that is really cool, and some of Coltrane's beautiful harp playing as well. The piece "Om Supreme" is another stand out selection as well as the opening tune "Spiritual Eternal." Check it out!"
