"I first heard this album, or at least the first 9 songs listed, when my mom bought it for me at a grocery store for 99cents as a cut out lp. I'd never heard of them, but as soon as I put it on I knew it was money well-spent. This was around 1975 I would guess. Anyway, if you like the one song of theirs that still gets air play on oldies stations ("Tighter Tighter" I think it's called.) then you'd like this one. It's hard for me to describe actually but it's kind of a bridge between the late 60's and the early 70's. It's simply a product of the time it was made and it you like the music from this period get this album. Don't know about the songs after "Mother Carey's Chicken". Buy it...."

"I bought this lp a while back, long after getting the single (when it was first released). I loved "Sunday Morning", the B side, and was disappointed that the whole song did NOT appear on the album. It was only a snippet. Other than that, the lp is classic."
