"Allen Devine just keeps getting better, and it's not as if this Boston guitar slinger's earlier albums needed any improvement. Devine has always had a keen pop sensibility. The songs on Poportunity are wonderfully arranged and performed (fans of great drummers will take special delight in Fairport Convention/studio player extraordinaire Dave Mattacks' work on this record. Devine's guitar playing rocks, growls and stings in all the right ways. But the real deal here is found in the hooks. I dare you to play "Change" and resist the urge to hit replay. Geez, I dare you not to buy the record."
