"There's a reason that music can lift your soul - and if you've been moved by anything "ailey", then you've got to hear this to believe it. It sounds better than it sounded in the theatre when the Ailey Company danced to it, and it sounded great even then! The quality of the sound, the engineering, the passion of the voices on nearly every tune will give you goosebumps. Wade In The Water is a highlight, as is Donny Hathaway's "Song For You". As a bonus - there are comments from Judith Jamison, and some very passionate thoughts she does give you about Mr. Ailey himself. She explains "Revelations" from the perspective of herself as an audience member, and dancer. I can't say enough about it."
