A Very Solid Effort

"This is basically a very good pop-punk album in an age when there are almost none. Some fans may prefer the emo leanings of the band's past lead singer, but the new sound is more accessible without losing any of the rock edge. In other words, this is far from a sellout - it's very commercial but nowhere along the lines of poppy bands line Forever the Sickest Kids or All Time Low.
Bands like this rarely survive to put out a third or fourth release, and while this album is not going to catapult the band into surefire mainstream success, tracks like "Three Worlds," "Conviction," and "Anthem for a Young Heart" are worth a listen. And don't be surprised at all if you're humming these melodies for hours after hearing the songs. If you want a pop-punk album that simply rocks and nothing more, this is for you."
