"This is where "Amistades Peligrosas'" legacy begins, which is composed of four cds. "Relatos de Una Intriga,' perhaps Amistades best work, is innovative in music and lyrics, something that would continue to be "Amistades Peligrosas" trademark in music, only to be joined later by religous themes. In short, all these songs do not have to do with the always cliched concept of "love." Instead the lyrics are based on subjects such as friendship, discrimination against foreigners and faith. Overall the whole album is great but there are two songs that stand out from the rest. First there is "Solo Pienso en Ti" which tells of a painter that has difficulty capturing the poser's rare beauty. You see it is difficult to paint beauty and this is just what this song is saying. But beauty continues to come back even though there has been no advancements in the painting. This is because beauty likes to be appreciated no matter what form it is, whether it's physical, mental or spiritual. Second there is "Duermevela" and this tells of the irony of not being able to sleep at night. For example, a candle is lit and "awake" all night, while everyone else sleeps. Both of these previously mentioned songs are not typical lyrics in spanish music, and their beats are just wonderful. Again "Solo Pienso en Ti" has been redone in a different version by another of Spain's greatest exports Miguel Bose. Though in his version the music accompanies the lyrics in the form of reggae, the song still sounds beautiful. This lets us know that no matter what music is used to define a great-written song, it will forever remain beautiful. And this is one of those rare beauties that only few singers can offer us. And "Amistades Peligrosas" is among the top of the list for Latin artist. Sadly there are rumours going out that the duo will no longer work together."

"Este es el compact disco donde se estrana Amistades Peligrosas. La música es fabulosa y se lo recomiendo a cualquier persona. No se arepentirán de haberlo comprado. Las letras son buenas y también los ritmos. Yo tengo todos los CDs que grabaron y me encantan todos."
