Two great songs from Winehouse's debut.....

""In My Bed" is [in reference to the title of her album] quite frank, indeed. Amy Winehouse is asserting herself as an independent, sexually liberated woman. Though, some people might find the lyrics crude and even vulgar, she is truly being honest that (in her words) that [she] "sleeps alone." Plus, this song has a very catchy hip hop hook, and Amy sounds saucier than ever. "You Sent Me Flying" is a song about being dumped. That is the most straightforward and succinct way I can put it. Amy is recovering from being "kicked to the curb." Both songs are very descriptive, honest and blunt. Plus, the bonus cut is material previously unreleased on FRANK (at least, it wasn't on my copy that was released in the United States. Maybe British fans have this on their albums? I don't know)."

"This CD, all though there are only 3 tracks on it, is excellent. I have all her CD's in constant rotation. If you can't get her CD's here try the AmazonUK. I got all of her CD's from there. Some of her single CDs are hard to get in the states. She is sultry, in your face, soulful and real."
Excellent sample of Amy

"Both songs on this single are very excellent and give you a taste of what "Frank" sounds like. Amy's blunt and realistic lyrics in both "In My Bed" and "You Sent Me Flying" give me chills over how truthful and witty they are, and coupled with her amazing voice? Breathtaking."
