Andre scores with near perfect outing
Darryl Geddes | Syracuse, NY | 03/19/2004
(4 out of 5 stars)
"As easy listening music goes, Andre Kostelanetz has few peers save for Percy Faith. But in this two album set, he distances himself from other "lounge" arrangers by offering inventive orchestral arrangements of well-worn classics, like Alfie, Sounds of Silence, Two for The Road. Andre's artful arranging is empowered with his knack for finding a way to infuse his charts with accordians, harps and other instruments that otherwise take a back seat in most arrangements."
