CD ReviewsSmoothjazz.com Review Sandy Shore | Monterey, CA | 09/16/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This one's hot stuff...no question about it. Sax man Andre Delano scores big with his debut solo album, FULL CIRCLE, and when Dave Koz was recently quoted as saying, "He is the real deal...a wonderful talent with an over-abundance of soul, passion, and musicality," Koz is right on the money! Delano's playing is vibrant, dynamic, and compellingly soulful. The production values on this disc are killer. Andre's tunes (all originals) are strong and memorable. What's not to like about this one? The first single, "Night Riders" is a hit, the second single, "Foot Steps," will follow the first one right up the charts, and there's more after that. I personally think "Jadon Smiles," a tribute to his son, is an amazing piece of music, full of love and passion. Andre's got great vocal chops, too, as you'll plainly hear on the title track. It's very cool to put a first effort from a new Smooth Jazz solo artist in the player and hear this kind of maturity and savvy! The St. Louis native has an impressive resume that includes recording and touring with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Maxwell, Jeff Lorber, Chieli Minucci, Doc Powell, and Bobby Lyle. With that kind of experience and exposure, it was time for a solo career, and FULL CIRCLE is one stunning debut! I have a prediction, and I feel very certain about it: Andre Delano's going to be hot stuff on Smooth Jazz play lists for a long, long time! ~Scott O'Brien" He got it done R. warren | Washington, DC | 08/01/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is his debut and he got it done right. This is a classy, entertaining smooth jazz cd. The smooth sexy sax and the few vocals are right on time. This guy should be around for a very long time. Some of the cuts will have you staring off into space and some will have you hand dancing either by yourself or with your partner. Congradulations to Andre for a fine cd. You can't go wrong with this one. Check it out!!!! Seriously!!!!" SEXY & MELODIC!
