Truly a contemporary delight

"Andrew Vasquez has done it again, producing a new CD equally as interesting as the award-winning "Wind River". This one has traditional sounding peices as well as blues-inspired contemporary Native American music. His work is always a delight, and this one is the best so far."

"This is an album with a variety of great sounds. However, my over and over again favorites are "Flying Low" and "Flying Free". "Flying Low", a memorial tribute to a friend, is restrained but emotional. "Flying Free", the final cut, extends the theme of "Flying Low". The high energy interplay of all the instruments with the flute soaring around and above them is breathtaking. Wonderful album!"
