Glorious music!!!

"This music is touching and glorious! The emotions are real and the feelings intense. The Sinfonia Elegiaca is a marvelous memorial to the dead of the Second World War from a composer who lived through it in Warsaw. His brother was killed by the Germans as were many other family members. Nocturne captures the mood of a burned out and devastated Warsaw after the war. The Louisville Orchestra was a pioneer in recording valuable 20th Century music and here rises to the many challenges of these works. These are historic recordings of some great and beautiful music."
