"I first heard Andy Narell on a five hour flight from LA to NY. The Jazz Collection sound track had the "Two Tone Shoes" track from the Slow Motion album. I was immediately entranced and repeatedly listened to the whole Jazz Collection so I could hear Two Tone Shoes over and over. I had no idea that steal drums could be so melodic. Also, I was amazed by the creativity of the piece. I immediately bought the album and was astonished to find that I loved all eight tracks on the album. I have become an Andy Narell devote. I own four of his albums and would give five stars to all but one of those albums: Slow Motion, Stickman, and Little Secrets."
I love this album

"I bought this as a cassette tape not long after it came out. I think I had heard it on public radio late at night and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, over time the cassette bit the dust. A few years ago I tried to find it on CD and couldn't. I ended up getting Fire in the Engine Room instead. I'm sorry to say those tracks just didn't have the same magic for me. On a whim I searched Amazon and discovered it's out of print. But I did pick up a used copy from one of the Amazon resellers. I'm happy to be able to listen to this album once again."
