An Andy Williams album to surprise everyone

"The second album in this set has been long-awaited on CD. Andy Williams takes several highly popular songs from the likes of Carol King and David Gates and sings them against exciting arrangements. His approach is to sing them as pop songs rather than treat them as extensions of the ballad repertoire, so that people who did not know to whom they were listening would be very surprised when the performer's identity was revealed. Andy's 'I'll Be There' is a powerful take on this classic pop tune and altogether the album zips along with energy and invention."
