"While she never scored a crossover Pop hit, Angela Bofill was truly a premier R&B songstress of the 1980s. This compilation features such Quiet Storm classics as "I Try", "Tonight I Give In", "Break It To Me Gently", "Still In Love" and "I'm On Your Side"--all of which became her signature songs and which showcase her amazingly-gorgeous voice, perfect phrasing and crystal-clear diction. If you are unfamiliar with Ms. Bofill's music this compilation is a good starting point but the 1999-issued "Definitive Collection" offers both better sound quality and a broader song selection. Enjoy!"
