This live CD was released shortly thereafter and proceeds from its sale will be used to pay for Ms. Bofill's hospitalization, therapy and treatment. As a long-time fan who would always go to see Ms. Bofill in concert whenever possible I can truly say that she is a great and amazing performer worthy of far greater recognition and acclaim. The live versions of "Tonight I Give In", "Break It To Me Gently", "Still In Love" and "You Should Know By Now" are your reasons for buying this great CD." All proceeds from this recording go directly to Angela, who in this live performance sounds as vibrant and earthy as ever. I was a little disapointed when I saw that the track listing for this CD, recorded in 2004, only concentrated on her early days while she was signed to Arista Records(and without the inclusion of her signature song "I Try") but what I learned was this recording purposely centered around the songs that can still be heard today on an almost daily basis in Manilla. That said, Angela handles the songs with great depth and clarity throughout. The standouts (IMO) are "Let Me Be The One", "Tonight I Give In" "Still In Love" and "Angel Of The Night". If you are a fan, this is a must have. I'm praying for you Angela...With all the hype placed on these talentless singers of today, the world is in desperate need your pure and honest vocals...that shine even better "Live""
