"This was Angela's final Arista release and her first and only collaboration with the multi-talented producer/multi-instrumentalist George Duke. Duke's production was very much state-of-the-art for its time but was at the same time subtle enough as to not steal the spotlight from Angela's inspired vocals. Both the title track and "Still In Love" are classic (if lesser-known) Quiet Storm ballads while the mid-tempo dance tracks "Midnight Shine", "First Time" and "Generate Love" integrate Angela into a then-mainstream R&B style and manage to sound contemporary but not over-produced. My only complaint is that the upbeat dance numbers "Woman's Intuition" and "You're On" sound too much alike. If you're a TRUE Angela Bofill fan, however, you'll want this CD in yor library."
