"I have been a Branduardi fan for many years. I must say that this is not only one of my favorite Branduardi albums, but one of my favorite albums (OK so I still call 'em "albums"...) of all time. Scintillating, beautiful music inspired by the life of St. Francis of Assisi. I was fortunate to be able to see him perform this material in the Tuscan town of Monteriggioni - a glorious event! This is a rich, luscious body of music that is pure aural ecstasy - do your ears and spirit a favor and give this a listen (or a few hundred....).
