Loved this album--kind of like a gospel TLC

"Angie and Debbie Winans, the youngest members of the famed Winans family, made a wonderful gospel album back in 1993. I still think that the heirloom of those Winans is felt in them too. There's a funky R&B hip-hop feel on most of the songs, but the emphasis is spiritual as well as universal in the lyrics. The girls sound strong vocally on all tracks. I still like Fact Is, Truth Is, Simply a Fanatic and Flashback. The duo got strong response for Light of Love with Whitney Houston. Even during the Bodyguard soundtrack's massive success, she managed to record a song with Angie and Debbie. There's such a funkiness to Flashback for its 6 minutes and it rivals most of TLC's hits and Left Eye's familiar rap sections. Once again another dynamic gospel album from that period!"
