Coming fresh off their National 2006 tour together, the experimental rock duets Animal and Archaeopteryx have been eternally fused into media history with their split album entitled Horror Orr. Beasts and beats collide, dissecting prehistory and modern pop-art in the vein of awkward interim and post coitus silence. The improvisational tracks are all captured live and synchronized by a musical bond that surpasses even covalent attraction. Guitar loops meet jazz hands and feet as Animal challenges the blistering bass and hyphy heuristics of Archaeopteryx. Eventually all musical acts become interpolated into the evil apparatus, yet only Horror Orr will be spared, stationed various paces to the left of this singularity, hyperventilating and hungry to live again in the basements of the underground New York sound.
