"The "Zlota Kolekcja" series introduces original Polish recordings, digitally re-mastered. Some of Anna's best songs are found here along with other, less familiar songs. The total experience, as far as fans of Anna German are concerned (She was very well known and is still adored in Poland, Russia and Italy), is a very good one. This is excellent easy listening. In terms of chronological order, the CD covers Anna's career, from her debut in Olsztyn (1963) with "Tak mi z tym zle", through her great victory in Opole (1964) with "Tanczace Eurydyki" and along the sixties and seventies. All recordings are in Polish (except "Ave Maria")and her voice, as always, is pure, romantic, tender and highly emotional. Well done to "Polskie Nagrania" and "Pomaton-EMI" for re-issuing such lovely recordings made by one of Poland's unique and most talented performers."
