"Coming from Germany, I never heard of Anne Murray before, until I came to the US and heard the songs in my landlady's kitchen - and immediatelly knew that I HAD to have this CD. The first CD in this album is good, just not 100% my music style, the second one was missing - but the 3rd one! Wow, that got me hooked. My favorites: "Si jamais je te revois" and "Feed this fire". The songs go straight to the heart. So I went and bought lots of Anne Murray CDs today, because she has such a wonderful voice and great lyrics. Also I like the diversity of the songs and styles and how it changed over the years without ever affecting the quality. This CD box is a great opportunity to get a glimpse of the whole variety. Ms. Murray, you have a new fan, compliments on your work!"
I wish there were more songs !

"Anne Murray has nothing to prove-she has sold millions, won every award that exists and is a national treasure in Canada and a worldwide superstar. This box set runs through the gammet of her amazing career and has some rare versions of songs that you will not find anywhere else. For example, the spanish version of "Broken Hearted Me" is here as is the never before released cut penned by K.T. Oslin "Lonely but Only for You". All songs on this box set are great. From all the hits "You Needed Me" with an introduction from her then young son, "Snowbird" , "I just fall in Love Again" , "A Little Good News", etc etc etc...plus some real emotional gems "Moon over Brooklyn", "A million more" (live), and the breathtaking early cut "Robbie's Song for Jesus"-just spine tingling. "Talk it over in the Morning" , a pleasant uptempo song with a sad feel to it is here, as is the brilliant "Sunday Sunrise". A delicious live version of the Beatle's "You won't see Me" with an alternate ending is also a bright spot. A lot of early stuff that you probably have never heard is here and it's all top quality. Finally there are selections from every album up until "Croonin'" -"Now & Forever", "Time Don't Run out on Me" , "Flying on your Own" and the warm and charming introspective "Are you still in Love with Me ?" . My only criticism is that Anne has so many beautiful songs that another complete disc could have been easily added to this collection. Otherwise, top quality as usual."

"This box set is a must for any Anne Murray fan. All of her hits from "Snowbird to Time Don't Run Out Me" are here. In addition to the hits, there are a lot of previously unreleased songs, Live songs ("A Million More" is just beautiful) and a great Spanish Version of her big hit "Broken Hearted Me". This collection covers the first 29 studio albums from Anne's career and does an excellent job showing the many different styles of music she has done over the years. A great collection of songs!"

"This set is SO incredibly complete and beautiful and features some never before released live selections as well as previously unreleased songs which date back to the late Sixties before she hit it big as an American Pop success. There's only one downfall for me: Out of the 64 songs included, her 1979 second monster Pop hit, "Broken Hearted Me," is featured in Spanish. Why on earth would Capitol choose one song out of 64 to be released in a Spanish version? It's not only ridiculous, but it completely robs this awesome package of its sheer perfection. Hence, 4 stars instead of five despite the immense adoration I have had for this easy-going Canadian superstar who has inspired so many other Canadian women to cross over to the American charts and whose voice has been a major staple in my life since boyhood. Her accent is way off (in Spanish) and it only serves in making her sound ridiculous and like the victim of a weird international marketing ploy gone seriously awry. "Broken Hearted Me," the first single from her excellent, "I'll Always Love You" CD should never have been tampered with in such a manner. It's not like the song fared very well on the Latin Music circuit anyway (Correct me if I'm wrong.) I was completely disappointed by this bizarre choice. Otherwise, what you have is the most comprehensive set to date that Anne Murray fans will cherish for a lifetime. The booklet included in the set features Anne's comments on every song that's been selected. I still think that it might have included such early, obscure gems such as "You Can't Have A Hand On Me," "Uproar" or "Blue Finger Lou;" songs one cannot easily obtain in CD format. Also omitted was a nice little country song from 1980 entitled, "Do You Think of Me" from her "Somebody's Waiting" CD. All in all, this is a treasure to possess if you can get it for under $75.00. I once owned it and had to sell it to pay up on the rent after a series of layoffs in the late 90's. I hope to find it again one day. One might think that every major recording artist whom has a boxed set to their credit that is representative of decades of recordings would see to it that the boxed set would remain in print for years to come, but such is not the case here. I mean, COME ON, one can easily obtain boxed sets from Streisand w/o issue. Murray, similarly is a superstar in her own right too. It's just another classic example of the music industry's consumer-directed piracy; plain and simple. This is a beautiful set to own from Canada's beloved original "Snowbird.""
