"This album was a dissapointment for me. I love Anne and saw her in Las Vegas but I felt this album did not have a very good sound."
Her First Album

"This is yet another reissue of Anne Murray's first album, "What About Me," which originally appeared on the ARC label. The real thing, with the colorful original cover, is available on C.D., too. The budget for this album was limited but Anne Murray's native talent was already evident. She sings her heart out and some of the tracks are achingly beautiful. By the way, she also did a runthrough of "Reason to Believe" at the sessions and that has been added to some of the numerous reissues of "What About Me," though not here. If you don't mind not getting the original cover and do want to hear a great artist at the dawn of her career, this is an album well-worth having."
Sadly: very substandard quality!

"When I first listened to my new CD, I was fearful that something dreadful had happened to my stereo. The quality of each recorded track on this album is HORRIBLE! Anne sounds like she's at the end of a very long tunnel or in an echoing cave. DON'T PAY A DIME FOR THIS ONE!"
