"Overshadowed by rythm'n'blues artists like Ruth Brown, Faye Adams, LaVern Baker, etc., this one was every bit as great a talent and singer as any of them. And she could really belt out songs-what a pair of lungs!
This is probably the best collection one can get of her music on CD, if there are any other collections available to speak of. The original version of "Fujiyama Mama" is included here, which was later covered by Wanda Jackson. In my opinion, she was one of the great r'n'b/blues singers of all time, and as time went on, she never got the credit she was due.
