Believe what you read in all the other reviews about the man's talents, he has definitely got it goin' on...but, the one thing that has impressed me the most over the years is the fact that I have never seen him 'take a night off' and turn in a sub-par performance. Trust me, after winessing a Gomes show first-hand, you WILL be on your feet buying into his belief that music can change the world, one rocking soul at a time. "Live" perfectly captures all of the intensity and emotion of a night with Gomes and his rock-solid group of sidemen.
