"A big fan of Annette Peacock's, I imagined tapping into some vein of lost recordings (and at theses prices, one at a time). What a surprise to find out that this whole "Private Parts and Pieces" series listed under her name has nothing to do with Peacock, but rather belongs to Genesis guitarist Anthony Phillips ("ANT"). Even the title is off - this is actually Vol. IX, not IV. Yipes!
Anyway, since none of the misfiled recordings under her name have tracklists, here's one for this release, which was recorded in the early to mid-90s:
Part I - Openers; In the Valleys; Something Blue; Quango; Lostwithiel; Under the Ice; Sarah Blakeley's Evening; She'll Be Waiting; Still Time.
Part II - Hills of Languedoc; Luigi Palta's Confession; The Tears of Pablo Paraguas; Melancholy Flower; Night Song; Old Faithful; Summer Ponds & Dragonflies; Lost and Found.
All of this is nicely recorded, slightly bland, mildly interesting background music to my taste. Some tracks would fit nicely on a Hearts of Space mix on NPR.
Hope this is useful to Phillips' fans and Peacock's and that someone at Amazon will eventually put this whole series under his name (the recordings here under Annette Peacock's name are not, but there are others in the series that are).
