CD Reviews

Can I get an AMEN!!!!

"Up until this album, I always thought Grapetree was like the No Limit of Gospel rap...a lot of hype, but nothing to really get excited about. But then I heard Antonious! Antonious is definitely the tightest down south rapper of the Christian circuit. Lil' Raskull is ok, but Antonious is simply BLAZING!! All of these tracks are on point. The beats are like OFF THE CHAIN!! Especially the intro. You'll wonder why he didnt do a whole song off the intro's beat. It's PHAT!!! "Oh Yeah" gets u rowdy quick! You'll be knocking the speakers out of your trunk on this one. There are also riding tracks such as "In God We Trust" which calls out people who worship money and material things and "Drop Down" which tells us to humble ourselves in front of God, "Make It Right", "People Change", and the list just goes on and on. If you like ANY down south music, pick up this CD. Even my friends who aren't Christians like to listen to this CD. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU??? I dont really care for "Tell Me" though. Grapetree has sampled that song to death. But he makes up for it on the other 12 tracks. If this was the Source, he'd have 5 mics."
