""The Sacred and The Profane" is a magnificently done musical work. I am a free-lance sculptor and illustrator, and am always playing music when I create a piece. Arcanta, was lent to my by a
friend because he found it so inspiring to listen to while doing Art. I have really enjoyed Mr. Thomas Carlyle Ayres vocals on this CD. I think his interpretation of spirtituality is so poignant that this creates the inspiration in other visual type persons.

This recording is simply beautiful--but one must listen to it to fully understand. The voice of Thomas-Carlyle Ayres is not only Arcanta's blood line, but once heard, truely inescapable. The songs, like Arcanta's previous releases, are timeless and reflective, but this time around they more joyous--a celebration, if you will. Just listen, the music will take you over. Feel the warm loving hand touch your face when listening to "No Hope, No Fear," or close your eyes while listening to "The light of Setting Suns" and see the most breathtaking imgaes of the falling day imagined. Beautiful. Heavenly. Earthly. Erotic. Spiritual. Soothing. Timeless."

"'Arcanta's' piece, "The Sacred and The Profane" is intoxicatingly beautiful. So powerful is Thomas-Carlyle Ayres' voice that the listener is transported to a holy area of sound.
For me personally, being a Scientist and an Artist, I have found
'Arcanta' to represent a complete Renaissance in musical styles.
Thomas' vocals are provocative and completely instrumental; although his troupe makes use of guitars, zithers, and keyboard.
Each arrangement (some in Latin and Spanish) is delivered with such amazing sincerity. This characteristic is so unique that 'Arcanta' is truly the future of musical style. I use this description because of the peace that overwhelms the listener, and leaves one with hope and a renewed sense of beauty. I have found new inspiration for my artwork through Thomas' music; he has suceeded in connecting with me spiritually and professionally through his music. I cannot recommend "Arcanta" more highly. Simply Astounding!
